Today, we announce the addition of 100 new impact firms to our VC database, bringing our total to over 300 funds.

There’s been much talk about impact struggles – firms moving away from impact, diluting their thesis, struggling to raise new funds. But less has been said about the resilience of the sector.

VCs in Europe raised over $50bn for new impact and climate funds in 2025, roughly half the global total, according to research by Sightline Climate.

There’s still plenty of cashflow for startups looking to deploy tech for good, and a smorgasbord of VCs for LPs to invest in. To connect the impact ecosystem, we’ve compiled Europe’s largest database of impact VCs.

HERE you will find the full VC database (subscriber-only)

From Finland in the north, Bulgaria in the east, Portugal in the west, Greece in the south and Switzerland right in the middle, the new entrants include funds from typically underrepresented geographies across Eastern, Central and Southern Europe.

Many smaller, boutique funds have made an appearance, with specific theses such as the UK’s Eka Ventures, which only invests in startups working on systemic impact, or Berlin-based Karma Capital, which only backs companies operating with a steward-ownership model.

Larger funds are represented too, such as Cherry Ventures, which launched a €500m vehicle last year, as well as Germany’s FoodLabs and Spain’s Ship2B Ventures.

This is a living resource. We’ll keep it updated, growing and evolving as the impact investing ecosystem changes. Available now to all our subscribers.
