Impact Loop wins Sweden's trade publication of the year award

That was the jury's verdict at Tidskriftsgalan, the country’s premier magazine journalism awards which took place on Wednesday night in Stockholm.

Launched just two years ago, Impact Loop has grown into Sweden's leading source of impact news, analysis, and opinion.

Despite lacking a major corporate backer, Impact Loop – a startup covering startups – has already managed to reach profitability.

Almost a year ago today Impact Loop spun-out an English language version, Impact Loop Europe, which has quickly grown to become one of the continent's most respected sources for original startup and sustainability reporting.

In the past few months alone we've been the first English speaking media to break several key industry stories – including the X Shore bankruptcy and Einride's $100m funding round and IPO plans.

And that hard work clearly hasn't gone unnoticed by you, our readers. Impact Loop Europe's newsletter following has swelled to over 22,000 only 9 months since its launch.

As we double down on European impact and sustainability journalism, this award gives us the opportunity to reflect on our growth.
