Swiss family office launches new investment arm – and plans to list in Stockholm

Robin Lauber is a Swiss entrepreneur sitting on a significant amount of wealth.

His fortune stems from generations of real estate investments, with Robin, the third-generation heir, entering the family property business around 2015.

Robin co-founded Infinitas Capital alongside his father Peter to channel some of their wealth into private equity investments. The firm currently manages about $750m in assets.

And now, the single-family office has launched a new investment fund in Sweden.

A listed growth vehicle

Infinitas plans to publicly list the investment firm on Nasdaq Stockholm before the end of the year.

While Lauber wasn’t forthcoming on details about the new fund, it looks to be a publicly listed holding company that gives ordinary investors access to private market deals. Its first move will be to acquire up to 25% of HausVorteil AG, a German equity release company.

“Sweden is one of Europe’s most dynamic capital markets for growth-oriented companies,” Lauber said in a press statement. “Our ambition is to act as an anchor shareholder and generate long-term value.”

To lead the new firm, Infinitas has appointed Alexander Landorph as head of capital markets.

An LP and investor in impact

While not a pure impact investor, the family office says it eyes “next-gen impact-driven companies.” It has backed several sustainability-focused startups through its venture arms Prediction Capital and Korify Capital.

Investments include info.link, an AI-powered sustainability platform linking firms to eco-impact data, and Hyphen Earth, a carbon removal tech firm using biochar for soil regeneration.

The family office has also invested as an LP in Presight Capital, Verve Ventures, and Insight Partners.

The bulk of its venture and early-growth deals are in biotech, where it particularly focuses on drug discovery.
