The leadership reshuffle comes as Einride is gearing up for its next growth phase. Falck, who founded the company in 2016, will now serve as executive chairman. His main focus will be on the company's long-term strategy, including preparing for a potential IPO.

"This is more than a handover – it's a continuation of the vision," says new CEO Roozbeh Charli, who until now was the company's CFO. "I'm proud to take on this role and lead the next phase of execution. With a strong team, a proven platform, and a clear sense of purpose, we're ready to scale responsibly and deliver lasting value."

Charli has worked at Einride for five years and has, according to a statement from the company, played a key role in building the operational infrastructure and commercial momentum across Europe and North America.

Falck co-founded Einride together with Linnéa Kornehed Falck almost 10 years ago, says it's time to shift his focus to where he can create the most long-term value.

"As Executive Chairman, I will focus on the overall company strategy, including ensuring that Einride can go public when we find the time is right", he says.

The leadership transition also includes Anders Böös stepping down as chairman of the board.

"Serving as chairman during Einride's transformation from vision to global force has been a privilege," Böös says. "What the company's founders and entrepreneurs, Robert and Linnéa, together with the entire team have built is rare: a company that leads with both conviction and capability."

Secured new funding

Einride has emerged as a leader in the transition to sustainable transportation, designing and developing freight mobility technologies including electric and autonomous heavy-duty vehicles. The company operates one of the largest fleets of heavy-duty electric lorries in Europe.

Two of Sweden's biggest venture capital firms, EQT Ventures and Northzone, are among Einride's backers. The company, which had a turnover of £14.5m in 2023 (official financials for 2024 are not yet public) and a loss of £78.5m, has just secured £39m in new funding, according to local Swedish media.

Impact Loop will speak to Robert Falck later this afternoon and will follow up with an interview here on the platform.
